Chat & amp; respect
Keep the chat clean for everyone:
- Spam and advertising.
- Racism, homophobia, abuse and hate speech.
- Defaming or spreading false information about our servers.
- Disrespecting staff members.
Never call out or report someone in public chat. Instead, press F7 in-game or open a ticket in our Discord. That keeps the server calm and reports get handled properly.
Fair play & software
No. Any third-party software is prohibited and results in a permanent ban. This includes visual filters used to gain an unfair advantage at night.
- Evading restrictions or bans issued by our administrators.
- A previous EAC ban on another account within the last 180 days.
- Steam accounts bought outside official channels, especially bot-made accounts. They violate Steam's Subscriber Agreement and are not allowed to play on our servers, as they are a risk and are often linked to cheating.
Building & exploits
No. Abusing any unintended glitch or bug — in the game, a plugin or a safe zone — to gain an advantage over other players is a violation.
Using terrain bugs to build a base, hide loot or get under the map is not allowed — unless it is a conventional bunker or build exploit, which are fine to use.
Groups & combat
Respect the group size limit of each server. Exceeding it, and teaming up with other groups for PvP or PvE advantage, is not allowed.
Yes — in any active PvP zone or monument, you must KOS (kill on sight) any player from another group. Alliances between groups for PvP or PvE advantage are forbidden.
Sharing door codes, Tool Cupboard authorization or turret authorization with other groups is not allowed.
No. Stream sniping creators who actively hide where they play is forbidden.
If you are a streamer, we require you to hide the map, enable streamer mode, disable chat and keep your BattleMetrics profile private. Affiliated creators are exempt from this.
Staff & support
Moderators are trusted players with mute-only permissions. They enforce chat rules and help with general support and questions in-game and on Discord.
Admins and owners have full in-game powers to supervise the server, investigate suspicious players and handle reports sent by F7 and Discord tickets.
The main job of our admins and moderators is to help the community. Just open a ticket in our Discord.
Our main policy: we do not allow anyone to harm the server or its players. We always reserve the right to ban players who damage the community — we want RustNest to be the safest, friendliest place to play.
